Well unfortunately my camera battery back is not working at the moment so I’m gonna have to turn to a disposable until I buy a new one. Me and Nora are now moved into our apartment in the Prati Neighborhood of Rome, a whopping 5 minute walk from the Vatican!! The Vatican is beautiful, and I’ve still only seen it at night. Nory and I live with 5 other girls in our apartment, and it’s pretty sizable. There are some definite problems with the hot water and plug electricity but overall its a sweet pad.
Yesterday (my first full day in Rome) we moved into our apartment, and explored our neighborhood. We ate and had espresso at a small caffe down the street which was just lovely. We passed many pizzerias and gelato shops, and my craving for Gelato will have to be solved tomorrow. We bought groceries and a nice 2 dollar bottle of wine. Sooo fancy. I woke up sick today and missed my orientation. It was weird because after going back to sleep for a few hours I felt a lot better, but nonetheless took it easy today and watched a lot of tv -_-. Lame. Hoping to feel top-notch tomorrow and visit the spanish steps! Hoping to post pictures soon and maybe next time around have a crazier story for all you guys. Ciao for now!
Hello friends and followers,
For the next 4 months of my life I will be living in ROME and exploring Europe whilst “studying” abroad. I am insanely excited and thanks to my good friend Anna Pieri, I have decided to make my tumblr page into a blog that follows my adventure. When I have time I will post pictures, tidbits, and stories about my life abroad, (mostly for myself) but also for anyone that is interested in seeing what I’m up to.
I leave TONIGHT at 9 pm and I will miss all my friends and family here in the country, but I’ve been dreaming of this moment for years and am finally ready to make it happen. I’m sooo ready for pizza, wine, and a shitload of good coffee (Mayra Cabrera). I have no idea how it’s gonna go and I CAN’T FUCKING WAIT!!!
ARRIVEDERCI!!!!
